5. John Corvan.

John Corvan was the fifth child and first son born to Anthony Corvan and Mary Healy. He was born around June or July of 1854, at 73 Lisson Grove North, Marylebone.
Sadly, baby John lived for just eight weeks. He died on Septemeber 2, 1854, in the family home, and the cause of death was given as 'marasmus'(definition:a form of protein-energy malnutrition predominantly due to prolonged severe caloric deficit, chiefly occurring in the first year of life, with growth retardation and wasting of subcutaneous fat and muscle.)
It was not long after John's death that the Corvan family left London forever and set sail for Victoria and what was supposed to be a better life.
